Dance
Reflex

What is it:
Photographic composition

What we did:
Creative concept, visual design

These visual compositions result from a set of pictures shot at a group of friends dancing at a party in Shoreditch, London.
They attempt to capture the state of bliss people experience when carried away by music and dance.
They were created by using an app that allows to emulate the multiple reflections generated in a hall of mirrors by swiping on the smartphone screen.
The effect accentuates even more the sense of rapture conveyed by the original shots and quite fascinatingly, it causes an abrupt shift from the level of reality to a finer level of representation.
To this respect, it's worth noting that the subjects were not models.
Although aware to be photographed, they were dancing just for their own fun and were not engaged to pose.
