What is it:
what I did:
Creative concept, graphic design, name generation, logo design
A new tablet magazine needed an identity reflecting its mission to explore in depth the most prominent people and topics in the entertainment and media industry.
We picked out the magazine name Innermost to indicate its purpose to go beyond the surface of media culture.
Consistently with this idea, the logo shape reminds of a cellular nucleus, an egg's yolk or the concentric rounds of a tree trunk's structure.
As for the story on Madonna, we researched on the performer's public image, consisting of elements of femininity, religion, contradiction and boldness.
We made all these elements converge into the story's visual style, incorporating typefaces and a colour palette in line with the artist's visual imagery.
